How we work with you
We work closely with Subject Matter Experts and trainers to establish learning objectives and develop an outline storyboard for each e-learning module, as well as to determine the other media to be used in the programmes. Sponge will advise on learning design and copyedit and script text suitable for e-learning.
Prior to starting, it is helpful to have any resources such as PowerPoints and training notes or written content.
Learning Management Systems
If you
don’t already have a Learning Management System (LMS), we have our own Lite LMS and can get you up and running quickly
with your e-learning programme. This houses the modules and enables users to access the learning. It also provides
information for the administrator such as test results and who completed which e-learning course.
If you want a blended solution that combines e-learning with face to face training, we have expertise in Moodle and have used this extensively with NHS clients. It is open source and therefore free of any licence fees.
If a more advanced level LMS is needed with more complex requirements, we can advise on one suitable for your needs. We are an independent company, not affiliated with any LMS supplier so therefore can provide you with impartial information.
We can also provide hosting services if required.
What are our programmes created in?
Our e-learning is mostly developed in Flash software which gives us the flexibility to make it interactive and include animations. We also do use authoring tools such as Articulate, primarily when the client wants to be able to update e-courses themselves.
