First Steps

If your organisation is interested in starting down the road of e-learning, we often recommend doing a pilot of 2 or 3 modules as a good starting point. This way, the initial outlay is less and it gives you an opportunity to trial it with your employees and get useful feedback that is helpful for future developments.

Four steps to getting started:

  1. Choose 2 or 3 important topics your employees need to learn about
  2. Choose a subject matter expert or trainer that can work with us so we can develop content
  3. Gather any resources that you may be using already such as PowerPoints, training notes, photographs or graphic images
  4. Give us ring or email us about your project so we can give you an estimate for the work

How long should an
e-learning module take?

We normally recommend between 20 - 40 minutes maximum. As a rule of thumb, 20 minutes of e-learning is equivalent to 60 minutes of face to face training.
