PROJECT: Planning for an Effective Intervention

REQUIREMENT:
Online training for all primary school senior leaders, head teachers and teachers in the UK so they can more effectively help primary school pupils who were underachieving and narrow gaps in attainment.
OUR APPROACH:
Sponge developed an innovative module using a documentary-style approach. Featuring a cast of teachers and schoolchildren, photographed in black and white, the learner followed the life of the cast through the implementation of the intervention plan through a series of audio stories. The experience evoked a feeling of authenticity and intimacy, linking the learner to the characters, as well as providing opportunities for reflection with questions throughout. Because of this unique approach, Sponge were shortlisted for an award by eLearning Age) for Excellence in the Production of e-learning.
